W-League action returned to the Sutherland Shire as Sydney FC defeated Adelaide 2 – 0 at Seymour Shaw Stadium in front of a huge crowd of almost 2,000 spectators.
Our Association was represented through 17 of its Clubs who were either Mascots, Ball Girls or played in the half time small sided games.
An entertaining afternoon of football was enjoyed with Sydney FC winning 2-0 to remain equal leaders with Melbourne City.

Sydney FC has moved into equal first place on the Westfield W-League ladder after they defeated Adelaide United 2-0 in front of a bumper crowd at Seymour Shaw on Sunday.
The Sky Blues dominated the first half and were duly rewarded after Remy Siemsen finished off a lovely move with a looping effort over Eliza Campbell just before half-time.
United created numerous chances of their own after the break, but were unable to capitalise in the end as Sydney doubled their lead six minutes from full-time.
The win sees Sydney make it three wins in a row, remaining in good stead as they travel to face the Newcastle Jets next week.
