2017 Deploy State Cup Finals at VSP

Valentine Sports Park was gripped with one of the most important dates in Football NSW’s Association calendar, the 2017 Deploy State Cup Finals as hundreds flocked to take part in the state based tournament on Sunday 16th of July.

Sutherland Shire Football Association was the second most successful Association with two victories on the day.

UNDER 14. ST PATRICKS   V. CONNELLS POINT ROVERS    2 – 3

UNDER 15. LILLI PILLI   V. CAMDEN TIGERS   0 – 2

UNDER 17. EARLWOOD WANDERERS V. LILLI PILLI   1 – 1  (pso  3 – 1)

UNDER 18. WINSTON HILLS V. KIRRAWEE   1 – 2

UNDER 21. MENAI HAWKS   V. MT PRITCHARD   6 – 1

 

The Robertson Cup (Under 21’s), for the third year running, saw one of Sutherland Association’s most decorated teams, the Menai Hawks 21’s, defeat opponents Mt Pritchard with a scorching 6-1 victory. It was to be the Hawks’ third State Title in three successive seasons a massive feat for any grassroots club in NSW.  (Click here to view the official match report).
