Sutherland Shire Football Association


Sutherland Shire Football Association is conducting free skills training sessions for girls (aged U9 or older) only to attend.

Due to the popularity of this event & the large numbers attending we will now hold 4 sessions over 2  consecutive Wednesday evenings with Wednesday June 21st  for the younger Under 9 & Under 10 Girls only. A week later on Wednesday June 28th we will hold sessions for the Under 11 & Under 12-15 Girls.

Details of Dates & Times for your session are as follows:

Wednesday June 21st :

  • Under 9 Girls 6pm- start on park – 7.15pm finish
  • Under 10 Girls 7.30pm –start on park – 8.45pm finish


Wednesday June 28th  :

  • Under 11 Girls 6pm- start on park – 7.15pm finish
  • Under 12-15 Girls 7.30pm –start on park – 8.45pm finish


Venue: Harrie Denning Football Centre, Bates Drive, Kareela.

Cost: Free

Presenters: The sessions will be presented by Sutherland Shire FA Women’s Premier League players & coaches with the assistance of the SSFA Football Manager- Jon Long.

The format of the session will see the girls rotate through 4 skill stations each one focusing on 1 of the 4 core football skills plus there will be skill station training for goalkeepers also.

To ensure the session quality is maintained at a high level places in each session will be limited to the first 80 applicants. Coaches are welcome to attend and observe.

Registration: The sessions are now full and therefore no further registrations will be processed. Additional clinics will be run again during the year.
