NSW 2015 Community Sports Volunteer Awards

The SSFA is pleased to advise that Giulio Di Stefano is a finalist for the NSW 2015 Community Sports Volunteer Awards. Showing devotion, passion and a love for football, Giulio has been recognized by his community and the sport.

Giulio Di Stefano is an avid football fan and administrator for the Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA) and has been nominated for the Community Sports Administrator award.

Taking a range of roles within the Sutherland Shire Football Association, he acts as the Treasurer, sits on the judicial committee and both develops and oversees the AIA Vitality MiniRoos program set out by Football Federation Australia.

Di Stefano also liaises with Hyundai A-League club Sydney FC in organising their ball boys and half time games, something he also did during the recent AFC Asian Cup.

Giulio has been a volunteer in football at Association level for the past 13 years, which is an achievement in itself and yet he continually excels with his selfless commitment elsewhere within the Sport.

The dedication shown by Giulio in fostering healthy and fair participation in football for all involved and is second to none. An award at this level would be a fitting acknowledgment from the community he has served.
