To our Football community,
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I inform you of Pixie’s passing this morning.
A giant within Bonnet Bay FC and also the broader community of which he was so heavily involved.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Burgess family at this time.
Further details will be communicated in coming days, but the family has advised there will be a small family funeral followed by a broader community function to celebrate his life.
Our lives have been enriched by his commitment, dedication, service and passion to community sport in the Shire.
