Girls Only Free Training Night – Tuesday 30th March
What a night!!
A big thank you to all the girls that had participated in the 2021 SSFA Free Girls Night at the Harrie Dening Sports Centre on Tuesday night.
This was the largest Free Girls football event staged by the SSFA, with approximately 430 players training over the 3 hours. The feedback from the coaches was that they were amazed at times by the skill level of the players, something that has been noticed at our Academy, GSAP and WPL trials over the last few years.
There was also a tremendous enjoyment felt by all the players in being involved and this happiness in playing the game is key in continuing the growth of women’s football in this country.
A big thank you to Top Juice Miranda who sponsored the event and gave away plenty of prizes.
