SSFA 5 WEEK ADVANCED GIRLS ACADEMY (COMMENCING TUESDAY 20TH APRIL)
A big thank you to all the girls that had participated in the 2021 SSFA Free Girls Night at the Harrie Dening Sports Centre on Tuesday night. This was by far the largest Free Girls football event staged by the SSFA, with approximately 430 players training over the 2 hours. The feedback from the coaches was that they were amazed at times by the skill level of the players, something that has been noticed at our Academy, GSAP and WPL trials over the last few years. There was also a tremendous enjoyment felt by all the players in being involved and this happiness in playing the game is key in continuing the growth of women’s football in this country.
To continue the development of female footballers the SSFA will be conducting a 5 week Advanced Skills Training Program for players who compete in the A & B Association competitions. You must be quick as spaces are limited.

2021 SSFA Girls U9-U15 Advanced Academy
Tuesday 20th April-18th May ( 5 weeks )
Venue: Harrie Dening Centre
U9-U11 5-6pm
U12-U15 6-7pm
Advanced Skills training program for players playing in the A or B grade competition.
FFA Accredited Coaches
Sessions will focus on the 4 core skills which include Running with the Ball, First Touch, Striking the Ball and 1 v 1, and aim to improve their decision making and game awareness.
