The AFC Asian Cup trophy has been been getting out and about in the community in recent months as Asia’s biggest football tournament edges closer to kick-off.
The latest event to feature the historic trophy was the Sutherland Titans 2014 Grand Final Day held at Seymour Shaw Stadium.
Titans FC’s goal is to help include kids with special needs in mainstream sport and their Grand Final day was a great success.
Teams of all ages were out having a kick on the pitch, scoring goals and getting up and close to the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of January’s AFC Asian Cup.
Minister for Disabilities John Ajaka, Member for Heathcote Lee Evans, Sydney FC youth players and AFC Asian Cup representatives were all in attendance for what was a rewarding experience for all involved.
