?⚽️ Season Review – U12 GSAP 2023 ⚽️?
What an incredible season it has been for our U12 GSAP team! ?
We kicked things off with a bang at the Proctor Cup in Bathurst, where we brought home the championship trophy! ??
In June, their amazing coach Melissa treated the girls to a well-deserved break from training. We had a blast playing soccer golf and indulging in some delicious pizza. It was a fantastic team bonding experience that left us with unforgettable memories! ⛳??
During the July school holidays, our team embraced the challenge of playing up an age division in the U13’s Sydney FC Cup. We faced some fierce competition, but our girls stepped up and grew stronger, emerging as Runners-Up. Special shoutout to Ava for being voted the Best and Fairest player in the U13 division! ??
Melissa awarded two coaches’ awards to Georgia and Lucy, while Emmy received the Players Player award, voted by her teammates. ??
Throughout the season, our U12 GSAP team played a total of 23 games, winning an astounding 21 and drawing 2 (undefeated in 2023)! ⚽?
We scored a remarkable 132 goals, a testament to the talent and teamwork of all our players. Only 7 goals were scored against us all season, showcasing our strong defense! ?⚽
A huge shoutout to Charlize, our top goal scorer with an impressive 28 goals, and to Tamika, our most improved player. ??
It’s been an unforgettable 2023 season filled with fun, skill development, and exciting games. We can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us! ⚽️?
