Round 4 Champions of Champions Semi Finals

In an exciting series of semi-final matches during the Round 4 Champions of Champions, football  teams across various age groups showcased their skills and passion for the game. With victories and some unfortunate losses, lets recap the results of yesterdays matches

U14s Boys: Gymea United vs. Eschol Park FC

Gymea United went into halftime with a 1-1 score, but unfortunately, they ran out of steam in the second half, conceding a crucial goal and failing to claw their way back into the match. It was a valiant effort, and despite the loss, the team demonstrated impressive skills and sportsmanship throughout.

U14s Girls: Lilli Pilli vs. Collaroy Cromer Strikers FC

In another intense match, Lilli Pilli faced off against Collaroy Cromer Strikers FC. Lilli Pilli took a 1-0 lead into halftime, giving everyone hope that they would secure a victory. However, the Strikers had different plans, storming out in the second half with two consecutive goals. Lilli Pilli’s players can hold their heads high for a strong performance.

U15s Girls: Lilli Pilli FC vs. Liverpool City Robins FC

The U15s Girls match between Lilli Pilli FC and Liverpool City Robins FC was a closely contested encounter. In the end, the Lilli Pilli Girls emerged victorious with a hard-fought 1-0 win, securing their spot in the finals. The SSFA community congratulates them and wishes them the best of luck in the final.

U18s Male: Cronulla Seagulls FC vs. Bonnyrigg FC

The U18s Male match between Cronulla Seagulls FC and Bonnyrigg FC was a nail-biter. At halftime, the score was tied, and both teams had their opportunities. However, in the second half, Cronulla managed to capitalise on a scoring opportunity and secured a 1-0 victory.

U18s Female: Marton FC vs. Manly Vale FC

Marton FC were unable to participate and had to forfeit the match.

U21s Male: Cronulla Seagulls FC vs. Harrington United FC

Cronulla Seagulls FC’s U21s Male team continued their impressive journey in the competition, defeating Harrington United FC with a stylish 3-1 win. This victory secured their place in the final. Congratulations to the team!

O35s Men: Como Jannali Soccer Club vs. Dunbar Rovers

The O35s Men’s match between Como Jannali Soccer Club and Dunbar Rovers was a tight battle, with the score tied at halftime. However, Como Jannali managed to break the deadlock with a crucial goal, winning the game 1-0. They now advance to the final, and we are eager to see if they can keep their momentum.

045s Men: Cronulla Seagulls FC vs. Mosman FC

The 045s Men’s match between Cronulla Seagulls FC and Mosman FC proved to be a closely contested affair. With a 1-1 score at halftime, Cronulla managed to secure a lead and maintain it for the remainder of the match, winning 2-1.
