SSFA AYL 15 – MATCH REPORT

SSFA AYL15’s vs Southern Districts
On a warm winter’s day in Moorebank, Adam Stone – U18’s coach (filling in for Jonathan Dmoch) got the team focused to look for their 3rd win in a row vs Southern Districts. From kick off, the SSFA boys dominated the play with strong performances around the park which gave our forwards Brad and Ethan lots of work.
The first goal in the first half came with nice work on the right wing via William before switching to Kalom in the midfield who pierced the backline perfectly to place the ball on the feet for Ethan to pass the keeper. SSFA went into half time with a 1-0 lead.
SSFA started the second half as they did the first half with great skill in switching play and getting wide. The boys really started to connect passes, especially with one-two plays. The second goal came after an Ethan corner and with a beautiful solid header from DJ to make the score 2-0.
The third goal for SSFA came after some individual thinking by Fletcher as he took advantage of the opposition’s keeper out off his line to take a long range shot and landing it just under the cross bar. Final score 3-0.
