SSFA GSAP 12 – MATCH REPORT
On Sunday the sun was out and the GSAP U12 team travelled to North Turramurra to play the Northern Tigers.
Our opponents were tall, strong and physical players who defended their goal really well despite the many shots on goal we had in the game.
Their goal keepers were able to block the shots on goal by Charlize, Emerson, Kristina, Tamika, Ava and myself.
Despite having most of the possession throughout the game, we were unable to break their defensive line and score.
Georgia was solid again in goal, saving a couple of shots herself and the score finished at 0 – 0.
The team never stopped running and fighting for the ball to try and set up the forwards, especially Anastasia who had just returned from overseas the day before!
I captained the team this week and also received the Player of the Match award for my physical play.
