12 GSAP Match Report – Sunday 16th April
SSFA vs Northern tigers
On Sunday morning, we geared up for what we knew would be a hard and physical game against the Northern Tigers. Many girls played out of their usual position and did exceptionally well, everyone played with enthusiasm and grit.
In the first half Zola, Kristina and Charlize scored skillful goals, with all the team grinding through the massive physicality. At the half time break Melissa had a chat with us about only playing our game not the oppositions whilst stepping up our physicality.
In the following half, Charlize scored another 2 goals earning a brilliant hat trick. The game didn’t come easy for us for the Northern Tiger scored 2 quick goals in the opening minutes of the second half.
At the end of the game Ava was awarded player of the match deservingly so.
