SSFA GSAP 13 – MATCH REPORT
We played StGeorge on Sunday in the wind which made it hard to play football.
The first half we defended really well and stood our ground, it was a very fair game, highlight was Jasmine’s cracker against the bar.
In the second half we started to slow down and didn’t have the intensity and StGeorge caught on to our passes which wasn’t helped by their attackers not being told to stay back on our goal kicks.
Belle scored an excellent goal which was well deserved.
Izzy saved some amazing shots and Ivy made some great challenges at the back.
Soon wanted the ball more and they ended up getting some goals in the second half.
We had a couple more shots but unfortunately they didn’t go in.
They ended up beating us by 3 goals and deserved it as they played the better football but we move on & will improve next week.
