From the Shire Shores, Sutherland Shire FA have defeated Northwest Sydney FA 6-3 with an impressive performance at Christie Park, With Matty Fishers epic Three goals, Which gets us closer to the top 4 of the AYL ladder.

The game began with an elevated level of intensity and tension, as both sides looked sharp in possession and structured out of it.

The Northwest provided a beautiful sunny day of football for our young lads to dominate the game.

Northwest Sydney FA opened the scoring, converting against the run of play 7th minutes in.

After Northwest opening goal, Sutherland Shire FA were beginning to show their quality, progressing the ball forwards well and creating opportunities efficiently.

The goals did not stop coming into the 2nd Half.

Our defenders put their body on the line and made it harder for Northwest attack.

Our Super GK Christopher Myriallakis with unbelievable Goal kick found Finn Andrew in space, assisted a through ball to Matty Fisher that seen the keeper way off his line and shot twenty-five meters, what a GOAL! to finish off with a hattrick.

Justin Kotevski used his speed down the wing to secure winning GOAL for the game in the 79thminute.

Coach George Mihailou spoke before the game about needing to take advantage in the final third, but we did also speak about not resting on one or two goals today. Them getting two goals before halftime just emphasised that we really needed to get the third and the fourth. We have got Neapean FA next week, they have been very deadly and have proved they can score from anything, so we do need to be hungry for the win.
