Expression of Interest for SSFA Girls Representative Programs
The Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA) proudly presents its Girls Representative Competitions. The SSFA GSAP program stands as a shining example of empowering young girls to reach their full potential in football. It provides them with the invaluable opportunity to compete in the FNSW run program is at a state level, where they can hone their skills and become the best footballers they aspire to be. Moreover, this program fosters an environment that not only enhances their development but also promotes personal growth, instilling confidence and determination in these young athletes.
If you’re eager to showcase your skills, we invite you to express your interest and register for trial opportunities in the following categories.
- Girls SAP Teams: U10, U11, U12, U13
- Girls Academy Programs: U8 to U15 (for girls playing with their local SSFA Club)

To participate in the trials, interested players are required to complete the online registration form below. Please note that online registration is mandatory for trial participation.
Trial Information
Specific trial dates and times for each age group will be communicated through the SSFA website (www.shirefootball.com) as soon as FNSW announces Leagues & Trial Windows.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Players aiming to trial for SSFA GSAP programs must meet residential eligibility requirements as specified by FNSW and the SSFA, which entails residing within the Sutherland Shire.
- Similarly, players selected for Academy squads/programs must meet residential and/or playing eligibility criteria as outlined by SSFA.
SSFA Girls Academy: A Pathway to Excellence
Enhancing the Girls Representative programs is the SSFA Girls Academy, a skill-based training initiative aligned with the FFA National Curriculum. This program forms a crucial part of the FFA/ FNSW/ SSFA pathway for promising players. In order to be eligible participants must fill in the form down the bottom of this post.
