SSFA AYL13 ROUND 5 V Southern Districts
The first few minutes had both teams pushing hard, and Southern Districts were awarded a free kick after 5 minutes which resulted in the first goal of the game.
SSFA turned the tables back very soon after with a good pass from Jermaine through to Bobby who finished well to level the scores.
The half was littered with multiple shots on goal, mostly by our SSFA boys, many of which were saved by the SD keeper.
Around half way through the first half Bobby & Kacper combined really well with Kacper scoring our second goal, and just before halftime Harry put Bobby into space and another good finish had us 3-1 up at the break.
The second half once again had many shots on goal, again mostly by our SSFA boys. There were heaps of goalie saves, shots off the post, and shots just over the top, but that didn’t stop SSFA putting 3 more goals onto their scoresheet. The first was about 10 minutes in, with Kacper jumping on a loose ball in the SD box and safely knocking it into the top left corner.
Later in the half, a sharp pass by Jared through to Bobby, resulted in our fifth goal – and Bobby’s hattrick!
Just a few minutes before the final whistle, we had SD under pressure again and a pass to Harry in space by Jared had us put the final goal on the scoresheet.
